Aviation Training

Aviation Certificates Courses :

  • Airline Integration Course (AIC)-Duration: 4 Weeks
The Airline Integration Course (AIC) provides CPL/MEIR holders with a detailed introduction to the many demands of a multi-crew cockpit and the systems and operations of modern turbo-prop and jet aircraft. For low-hour pilots, or those with no commercial multi-crew experience, the AIC provides excellent preparation for a candidate’s first airline role.
  • Certificate in Aviation-Duration: 24 Weeks
  • CPL Theory-Duration: 11 weeks

This course includes 12 theory papers. There is no flying included in this course.

  • Instrument Rating-Duration: 12 weeks
This course includes 3 theory papers and practical training that consists of 45 hours flight time, it can be done in either a single engine or multi engine aircraft. Those interested in this course are required to have 50 hours Pilot In Command cross country time prior to commencing this course.
  • Instructor Rating-Duration: 12 weeks

This course includes 75 hours of training and hour building. 6 weeks of the course is hour building and 6 weeks are in the classroom. All students require 100 Pilot In Command Time before commencing this course

  • Private Pilot Licence-Duration: 12 weeks

This course includes 6 theory papers and 55 hours flight time. This course is suitable for students interested in flying for recreational use. All International students apply for this course will require a visa, unfortunately a student visa cannot be obtain but training for up to 3 months can be done on a visitor’s visa. Once the 3 month period is complete training cannot continue.

  • Private Pilot Licence/ Commercial Pilot Licence Theory-Duration: 22 weeks

This course includes 12 theory papers and 55 hours flight time. This course is suitable for students interested in flying for recreational use.

  • Commercial Pilot Licence/ Multi Engine Instrument Rating-Duration: 52 weeks
This is suitable for students interested in becoming an airline pilot for local and overseas airlines. This course is based on 230 hours flight time and includes PPL training.
  • Commercial Pilot Licence/ Single Engine Instrument Rating-Duration: 52 weeks
This suitable for students interested in becoming charter pilots or seeking employment in Single Engine Aircraft only. This course is based on 230 hours flight time and includes PPL training.
  • Commercial Pilot Licence-Duration: 52 weeks
This suitable for students interested in a career in scenic and agricultural operations. This course is based on 185 hours flight time and includes PPL training.
  • New Zealand Diploma in Aviation-Duration: 2 Years
This suitable for students interested in a career in scenic and agricultural operations. This course is based on 185 hours flight time and includes PPL training.
